Mr Lim Bok Ngam

MSI Global’s Managing Director Lim Bok Ngam has retired from service from 1 July 2012.

During his tenure as the MD, Bok Ngam had spearheaded and steered MSI Global through many major projects and policies and, concurrently as the DCE of LTA, had played a leading and vital role in developing Singapore’s Land Transport infrastructure. He was the Project Manager for major MSI Global projects, such as the Shanghai Line 10 and Turkey Marmaray Projects...etc.

Bok Ngam's notable achievements in recent years include the completion of the Circle Line, the Jurong East Modification Project, the Marina Bayfront Bridge and Helix pedestrian bridge, the completion of the SeP card replacement exercise and the launch of the Distance Based Through Fares. Bok Ngam was part of the senior leadership team that led the transformation of LTA, including the development of our vision of A People-Centred Land Transport System and the launch of our Land Transport Masterplan. Notwithstanding his heavy portfolios, he also served on the boards of Transit Link and Ez-Link.

I like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation and thanks to Bok Ngam for his 36 years of dedicated service and contribution to the Civil Service, LTA and MSI Global. We wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement.

On Bok Ngam’s retirement, with effect from 1 July 2012, Mr Sim Wee Meng has been appointed as the Managing Director of MSI Global.

Please join me in congratulating Wee Meng on his new appointment.
